If you want to do snorkeling, aquaworld gives GREAT tours for 30 bucks, and they're only a couple hours long.
Eats: STAY AWAY FROM STREET VENDORS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN YOU'RE DONE PARTYING. You wouldn't eat that shit at home, don't do it down there either!
Cancun has a water purification system and so do most restaurants and hotels so don't worry about brushing your teeth or eating the ice. Please. But if you stray from Cancun and go on a tour or something, make sure you eat only things that are well cooked and drink bottled water.
They have McDonalds, Burger King, etc....but you can't go wrong with Domino's Pizza, which is fresh all the time.
YOU HAVE to go to La Isla for shopping- its a gorgeous outdoor mall. And if you are going to eat in a cafe/food court, definitely eat there...not expensive, and not sterotypical American chain restaurants.
