There definitely are. I know firsthand of people who didn't know. Actually, until I joined GC I never knew that groups were required to do this. I thought it was more of a choice that chapters got to make individually if they wanted to tell NM's or not. It all really boils down to how strict your national advisor is and how close of a relationship they have with that chapter.
