Laura, thanks for all the help with advisor info, it's still all so new and exciting, but I'm hoping to help out if I can.
As for housing, I have no idea. I do know they have housing info sessions/meet other people in your boat beginning in June. Most leases start Sept. 1 since classes start the 13th. Positive note, I've always summered in Nantasket Beach about an hour outside the city and this summer my dad and his brothers are finally buying a house. Hopefully they'll have one by the end of the month and I can work up there and look for an apt.
It would be great to do some alum stuff, since it's a big city and i will need some a-phi love!
Emerson is located on Boylston Street right on the Commons. The campus actually has buildings kinda all over, but the main stuff is on Boylston. A good walk to Filene's from the admission office, but my mom and I had no problem doing it when i was there for an open house!
