At my Alma Mater, the ADPis would supposedly hug the PNMs and make hand signs behind their backs to tell other ADPis what they thought about the particular PNM. I thought it was strange since people aren't supposed to be touched during Recruitment especially in the first few rounds. LOL-- the funniest thing about that is that when I was a PNM, that was the rumor about Zeta Tau Alpha at my university! I'm very sure the ZTA's selection system doesn't include secret hand signals to designate "yay" or "nay," just as ADPi does not. I wonder how these rumors get started!
