Sisterfriends, and other non-Deltas, please let us have this one all to ourselves!

(Disclaimer: We all know the protocol; this list is unique to the experiences and personalities of each individual soror, and not a reflection of Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority, Inc.)

Here's my list:

YOU MIGHT BE A DELTA IF...

1. ...you do the "call" whenever you see/hear a Delta faucett commercial, Delta Airline promo, or an elephant on TV.

2. ...you do the "call" whenever you see a famous Soror on TV or in a magazine, and (if you're around someone else) you say "She's a Delta!" with a big, proud grin on your face.

3. ...no matter how cute the outfit, you just can't bring yourself to wear anything with pink and green as the only or main colors. You simply CAN'T!

4. ...you recite Founders, and do Delta chants, steps, or strolls around the house... just because.

5. ...you have more elephant figurines than you know what to do with.

6. ... you'll buy something with an elephant on it, no matter what it is (or if it's cute).

7. ... you get defensive when someone says the Delta colors are Red & White.

8. ... you act like you've actually "kicked it" with famous members of Omega Psi Phi, especially if you see one of 'em throw up da hooks on TV!

9. ... you have a red or a red & white toothbrush.

LMAO!
I do #2-6 and I always buy a red toothbrush. I do #8 also, or I say that person is a Que.
If I see Sorors or Bruhs stepping on tv, I do the call. Also before I was a Soror I would stand in front of the mirroe and practice the call and sign. (DOn't tell anyone)

Soror 411 I have 6 years, but I also know of older Sorors that have the same amount of pride.
