I, too, am an only child, and the sisterhood aspect was a big part of my wanting to be greek. Also, its a big part of life at LSU and I wanted to be a part of it - to feel like an integral part of student life on this campus. There's nothing saying that I couldn't be without joining a greek org, but they are so powerful here, its one of the best ways to contribute to the LSU community
