Greetings to all you Lovely Kappas out there,
I am Steph from Eta Alpha (Furman) and next week (March 8-13) is my pledge class' Inspiration Week with Initiation Friday, March 12th & Saturday, March 13th. I thought we could use a little action on our Forum and for good old time's sake, how about sharing fun memories of our Pledge Period and Inspiration Week and fun things like that! (Of course, nothing that would give away any surprises in store for future sisters!
)
My Pledge Period has not been that "ordinary" (who knows what is ordinary is anyway...), as I took a COB bid in December, helped the chapter with Formal Recruitment in January (we have Deferred), and then joined with my new Pledge class mid-January. I had never been through Formal before and I absolutely adored it!! Bid day was such a mix of emotions for me -- it was my own bid day and it was the culmination of my first Formal Recruitment! (It was really the best of both worlds! I wouldn't have traded it for anything!) I have loved getting to know all the sisters and wonderful girls who I will call sisters in just a few weeks!
So please, let the good times (or memories of the good times) roll...
