I hate guns. I will never own a gun. I don't like hunting (and I'm not particularly fond of people who hunt for sport....but that's for another thread at another time). I don't believe it's necessary for the average family to own a gun. That being said, I don't believe guns should be illegal. Like others have said, making it illegal won't stop the criminals from having and using one. I agree with Kappaloo. Owners should be licensed. If you can't use a gun responsibly then you don't deserve to have one. Citizens of the U.S may have the right to bare arms, but you also have a responsibilty to use those weapons wisely and properly. You can't have rights with out responsibilites.
