The Passion of the Christ
I saw the movie. It's still hard to describe what I saw, and what I feel about what I saw. IMO, this film will impact anybody who sees it.
Seeing the depiction of what Christ endured, I was ashamed, mad, incredibly sad, and ultimately challenged and uplifted. As a Christian I know that I'm no better than anyone else, but I do have standard that I need to live to. The depiction made me realize that I need to step my game up trying to meet that standard.
For non-Christians, I hope it'll cause some reflection, and maybe spark a curiosity about Christ---not religion, nor church denominations. Think about Christ's history and why he, an innocent figure, would suffer, and ultimately triumph, as he did.
I'd hate for anyone "on the fence" about the movie to be turned off by my comments, or anyone else's. See it for yourself, and then think about what you saw.
peace, yall.
