11,146 women over the age of 50 got married in Texas in 1999. Over 500 of those were over the age of 75. (I don't consider 50 a senior citizen but they are past child bearing age).

Approximately 900 grooms over the age of 50 were married in Nebraska in 2002.

These stats all seem to kept by state and I can't find (in the time I'm willing to put into this) stats for the whole country. But, senior citizens DO get married.

Domestic Partner benefits aren't offered by many employers. My company does offer same sex domestic partner insurance, but you have to pay full price (about $300 per pay period), where I could cover a spouse for free.
