Welcome to the time in your life where you will get more unsolicited advice than you ever thought possible -- but don't despair...this prepares you for AFTER the baby when you will get even MORE unsolicited advice from people

FROZEN GRAPES -- seriously. Have your hubby/S.O./someone get you the seedless kind (green/white were the best for me, but we're all different). Put them in the freezer for a couple hours, and then suck on them. They were a lifesaver for me.

SALTINES SUCK! To this day (baby is now 18 months!) I cannot stand to even look at them. UGH.

And while this sounds completely nasty, I promise you that it really helped me a ton -- get plain seltzer water and fresh lemons and limes. Pour a fresh glass over a little ice, and squeeze a few lemons/limes into it -- sounds gross, but it really helped settle my stomach.

I just want to reiterate what dakareng said...... morning sickness is a good sign for you! While it sucks, and I too wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, it is a sign that your body is taking care of your little one.

Hope this helps! Oh, and mine lasted 13 weeks -- I also used the Sea-Bands available at Wal-Mart, drugstores, etc. and they helped a lot too -- have a nurse show you where to put them on though - at first I had them in the wrong place, and duh - they didn't help!

One day I actually woke up hungry....and then the GOOD TIMES started...what they say about 2nd trimester "hunger" (for non-food items that is ) was incredibly true. Those were the happiest 3 months of my life!
