GBI Delivers Kenneth Walker Report

"The sevenovolume report on the Kenneth Walker investigation is now in the
hands of the Muscogee County District Attorney.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation turned over its report to Gray Conger at
a 10:00 a.m. Friday meeting. The G.Bi> has been investigating since shortly
after Walker was shot and killed by Sheriff's Deputy David Glisson December 10,
2003.

News leader 9's Jason Dennis, who's monitoring developments at the Government
Center, says the G.B.I. report includes interviews with Walker's three fellow
passengers and the patrol car video tape from that pullover along Interstate
185. But it has no interview with Glisson, as none could be arranged.

The next step is uo to Conger, who is likely to present the report and its
evidence to a grand jury. It's not yet clear if any of the report will be
released to the public immediately.

Wayne Baker, the President of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance,
says the videotape shoud be released. In a live interview on New Leader 9 at
Noon, Baker said it's a 'first amendment right' for citizens to see what's on
the tape..."
