"Jemima J." is good! Also, the new John Grisham is out ("The Last Juror")...I've got that one already packed in my beach bag for the boat!

Along the same lines of "Jemima J." is "Mr. Maybe" - also by Jane Green. She's a great writer who tells a great story!!!

I would also recommend "The Weight of Water" and "The Last Time They Met" by Anita Shreve. You have to read them in that order though, 'cause they kind of go together. However, I read the second one first, but could still understand what was going on without having read the first one. But I wish I had done it the other way around!

ETA: Kddani, if you're interested in any of the books I mentioned in my post, I have all of them and could bring them for you so you wouldn't have to purchase them! I usually buy all my books, read them once and they just sit and collect dust.
