In my opinion, you need a recruitment advisor and a financial advisor on top of the regular advisor at the very minimum, so I guess those 3 are the most important. However, if you can have more, a programming advisor would be very good also. I haven't seen an advisor not be an alum, but I think I would prefer an alum to be an advisor, all things being equal. But there are definitely times where someone else can help out too.
