Another good compilation album that I got for my 13 year old nephew for Christmas is the
Smallville soundtrack. They play great tunes on that show, and they are all safe for young ears. Some of the songs area little old, but still enjoyable:

Also, Kelly Clarkson's album is harmless, catchy pop music, if she doesn't have it already.
