If yuou find suffering moving and inspiring keep in mind that you don't have to stray far from your neighborhood for examples. Some of which will exceed the suffering from crucifixtion.

I would go so far as to say it is a "life chaning" movie b/c I realized with the problems I have in my life they are nothign compared to what He went though and I think showing it in is full unabashed state really hit home. you know how hearing or reading about something doesn't do it justice, well seeing it on film definitely makes a person realize how gruesome it was. Jesus suffered tremendously and I knew that but never understood how much he did suffer until seeing this film.
I mean the worst problem I have is trying to get my ex-girlfriend back. It also makes me want to read the Bible more and makes me want to be a better person.
