This man was a fallen Omega. His brothers, like all of us hurting behind this, have led the charge to bring this injustice to light (at least, this is where I learned of the story). The questionable circumstances of his death, provide a forum for anyone of conscience to speak out and demand justice. Why should hazing or other alleged fraternal illegalities be the only areas where we expect to hear from fraternal leadership?

I applaud Omega for keeping this front and center.
I think you missed my point. The post in question sounded like a reprimand to me and I was pointing out that in cases like this, sometimes it is best to wait before you release public statements, especially from the leadership. It is obvious that the Grand Basileus has been on top of it from the beginning, and I feel that the timing of when he made a public statement should not be an issue. This whole situation is grave enough without adding superflousness to it.

Now maybe because this tragedy is so painful to me, I am being overly sensitive. But it is how I feel.
