Ok guys, I have news!!!
Last night, I went to an informal get-together with some of the girls in the alum group-and it was so much fun! We went to this little wine bar, there were about 8 of us, and there were a couple of girls there that I've never met before, so I got to meet some new people-and see some I already have met. When the girls asked where I went to school, I just put it right out there-my situation, the whole AI process, why I'm there, etc etc-and I was so glad I did! If they didn't know I wasn't alum, they do now! The girls I had already met did know though. And ya'll, I had so much fun getting to know the girls and laughing and having a blast! So, I'm getting ready to leave, and the AC president told me that we're at the point where the alum chapter is ready to sponser me for AI!!!! And she's going to send in my paperwork to their nationals next week!! And she said don't worry about having a sponser, that all the girls liked me and thought I was a perfect fit!!! OMG, I am so so so excited!! It's like, everything I was worried about totally got taken care of last night. I am just on cloud 9 right now!! Oh, and the president also said that I'll be initiated in the fall ( assuming everything is ok)!! Happy happy!!
I feel so good knowing that I'm almost home!!
