It could have been a concert, football game, going to the mall, movies, etc.

Really though. I'm gonna be in my usually spots. I always stand by the cops. It's less likely that some foolishness pops off around them. I'm surprised that the shooting happened where a lot of police were located. I was on Canal for Saturn and Muses and G.W. Carver was heading our way. We saw the police hopping barracades and everything, so we turned around. We looked back and there had to be about 50-60 kids in a mob walking the neutral ground, following the marching units. The police stood their ground and pulled their clubs. Those children turned and ran back where they came from. I encouraged the crowd to clap for the police when they came back to their spot.
I had to thank them for helping to avoid some foolishness. I feel safe with NOPD and I will be out tomorrow for Endymion and ZULU on Tuesday if it doesn't rain. I may pass at NOMTOC.
