I'm in NAACP at my school. I'm kind of dissapointed about our involvement on campus last year. But we have a wonderful new president who I have faith in to do a good job.

Anyway, our chapter of NAACP sponsors and participates in an annual Thanksgiving dinner for the less fortunate, we a Martin Luther King march in rememberance of Dr. King. The march is followed with a message from a keynote speaker. One year we had Dick Gregory. This past Jan. our scheduled speaker was a member of DST(I can't remember her name) but she was unable to make it. I think it had something to do with flight problems. We have a Fall Ball as a fundraiser and lastly we have Unity Day. We invite all organizations from greeks to the choir to the Asian American student union to set up information tables about their specific organization. There's food, activities, music, and plenty of fun.

Other than that, not to much happens. We're working on it though. I look forward to the fall semester.
