I went to a Southern Baptist women's college *insert shock and awe here*
- We had a dress code, though it was pretty lax for class. I woke up most mornings and was able to put on a sweatshirt and jeans and go to class. The dress code was more to teach you what was appropriate to wear to certain events and, of course, to keep everyone looking nice on days when the trustees would visit.
- We had to take 2 classes of religion -- old and new testament. I actually enjoyed these classes tremendously.
- We had mandatory chapel and cultural events each semester for which you received an one hour credit. You could choose to pass/fail chapel and only attend 70% of the activities.
- We did indeed have a moral code. I remember several girls being "asked" to leave due to pregnancy or homosexuality, neither of which was acceptable.
I'll try and think of some other things that could shock you people
