and btw, I don't think anyone's mentioned, that policy is pretty much the same everywhere, it has nothing to do with the state (there is no governing body state-wise of sororities) or even national/international sororities. It's a policy adopted by the campus panhellenics that's pretty much the same everywhere. It's not really productive to bring in a new group when other groups are struggling.
