Valentine's Day is a matter of attitude. Whether you're with someone or not, you have the ability to choose if you're happy or not.

If you don't have someone, pick someone! Isn't there someone in your life who will possibly never get a Valentine's Day card, or flowers, or any thing of the sort? Would it absolutely kill you to send an anonymous card or gift? How about picking up a bouquet of flowers at a supermarket, and pass a few out to strangers? Or just bury your own face in the blooms, and let people see how lovely you look while you're beaming with the pleasure of flowers!

Look, you can sit inside and feel sorry for yourself, or you can make the most of the day. I learned this lesson a few years back, and haven't moped on a Valentine's Day since!

It's never the wrong time to make someone else happy!!

eta: In case you think I'm being a hypocrite, I'll be visiting a senior citizen's home, then my mom in the hospital today. Later, I'll indulge in a little chocolate & old movies. But I have this feeling that I'm going to have more fun than those of y'all that are sitting home and moping!
This is a great idea, and would PROBABLY make people feel better but most are way too busy feeling sorry for themselves.

Not having a Valentine is not the end of the world people, and it really shouldn't have the power to make you hate the day. Just go out and have fun anyway.
