I think if Edwards stays involved, he will be a good future candidate. He simply doesn't have experience and was portrayed too much as an ambulance chaser lawyer. One term as an elected official wasn't enough for him to overcome better known names. I'd still love to see him as a VP though. Or, if there ends up being any truth to the information posted in the Kerry thread, he could still be in the running.
