You never know how different chapters will react to knowing someone is a legacy. She just has to be as open and welcoming as possible during recruitment and hope they all will want her for who she is, not because she's a leg at a different chapter, nor treat her unfairly because of it.

I did this too, unknowingly. I was extremely naive going through recruitment. My sister wasn't widely known outside of her chapter and had just graduated when I started school, but when I got the standard "Why did you decide to go through recruitment" question, I answered: "I was really involved with activites in high school and want to continue those activities. Plus, my sister was in a chapter so I got to see and liked what Greek life is about." That was always followed by "Oh? What house was she in?" and me always telling them which one [stupid, stupid, stupid] and was cut very hard after that day. It all worked out in the end, I ended up pledging the chapter I was a leg at and had a wonderful four years there.

Or maybe a jamboree.
Or possibly even a shindig or lollapalooza.
Perhaps it'll be a hootshinpaloozaree. I don't know.
