Smooth R&B singer Donell Jones, who made headlines in 2000 when he was arrested for his alleged involvement in a car-jacking attack against limousine driver Travis Ingram

(Was I the only one who did not know about this) after a concert in Queens in 1999, releases a new album, his first since 2002's Life Goes On. Jones has worked with some of the best names in the biz, including the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and Madonna, for whom he arranged vocals on her 1994 Bedtime Stories album, and his new spin features the usual creative couplings. The singer, who credits music for saving him from, uh, a life of crime, spent part of 2003 on the road opening for Alicia Keys and appears on M.A.D.E., the latest album from Memphis Bleek, which was released in December.
