Hmmmm. I'd have to fight the power.
If I
had to portray another greek, I'd approach it diplomatically and tell them to please just allow me to have the paraphenalia around the room (i.e. a cup on a table or a picture on a wall). I'd explain how it would be in the shows best interest to avoid heat/ complaints from organizations, etc. I would not wear another organization's para. I wouldn't even want to drink from the cup, or hold the pen...
But you better believe I'd be fighting for them to change the role to AKA so that I could wear my para!!!
Remember that episode of "Sister Sister" when one of the twins were intersted in becoming greek? I don't know if Jackie (sp?) Harry is your soror or not, but she was pushing DST on the show. Does anyone remember if she ever wore para or if they simply had the para "around"???
