Talk about not having the nerve to post a reply to this one.... I don't know how I am going to get this done, but done it must be.
I entered college already having decided what I wanted to be. The decision was made once I realized who I had around me. In high school I was surrounded by Delta Women. There were women of other sororities there but none took the same kind of interest and none were able to get me to be the best me that I could be except them. Also in my senior year of high school, I was invited to the senior girls reception held by the alumni chapter... that was an experience that rendered me spellbound. To see the other women in my community that were members of your sorority - women that I knew and had seen make an impact. I knew then that I wanted to become a member of this sorority.
It may not work as a good reason for some, but those ladies meant a lot to me... and still do.
