This is for Southerners: Why is it that whenever our cousins from NY or NJ come down for the summer, we decide that we are all of a sudden from up North also (you KNOW we try to talk like them)?

I too have to admit that I am guilty of turning that music down I thought it was only me. For instance when I go to work I havt to show my badge to the officer. I turn the music down way low. I really am bad at it when I'm lost which is most of the time

I use to have a roommate who was from NY (R.I.P. ) so I had it bad. I was born and raised in Bama so imagine my country country self trying to talk like her. It use to be hilarious and I catch other people accent no matter where your from.
