Here's one of the best deals I've found. There's an Italian restaurant in the West Village called Sapore Due. If you go there between 4-6pm during the week they have a prix fixe dinner which includes an appetizer, entree, coffee or tea, dessert, and soft drink...for $10.95! Another good place to go is Confetti Pasta, at 5 E. 38th St. (between Madison Ave and 5th Ave) It is only open during the week though. But it's great...you pick a pasta, pick a sauce, and whatever else you want mixed in there (veggies, meats, etc...as many as you want) and they cook it right in front of you. Reasonable prices and very, very good.
