Texas*princess, I know that a lot of new items are available at Convention, more or less to test their sale-ability. I don't know about pins.
FWIW, my initiation pin (the white gold one) is a minature, but I can't honestly see a difference between it and the standard size. Okay, I
may see the difference: I think that the minature has three stones between each point, and the standard has 4. I guarantee that I'll be checking this out the minute I get home!
I'm hoping that y'all have been keeping your pins in either their original box, or in a nice jewelry box! I keep mine in one of the "official" ADPi crested boxes, which easily slips into a pocket for different rites.
