Ooooooooh! I have not been in this forum for some time and it is nice to come back and see some activity! And it is esp nice to see some new Gamma Phi sisters!

Here are some tid bits about me -- sorry to be so chatty, but I am trying to avoid putting Xmas decorations away - he he:

Have been serving as Alum Extension Coordinator since 1999; also a member of the Badge Task Force that Melanie chairs. I will be doing the Badge Newsletter - called "Crescent Catchers" -- that will debut at Convention in Chicago in June.

Occupation: Retired as LtCol after 22 years in USAF -- had served as an Intelligence Officer, primarily in Special Operations; last duty assignment was at the State Department. I am now a full-time domestic goddess and volunteer -- in my sons' (ages 11 & 9) schools, scouts and sports; also volunteer at my church and have served as the Chair of Peachtree City's Commission on Children & Youth

Favorite Gamma Phi Beta Memory:
In college, it has to be skating down the row on roller skates (inline skates had not been invented!!) in flannel Lanz nightgowns with Christi -- one of my best friends to this day -- we did that regularly!!
Well, I have so many fave memories -- being as old as I am!

Convention in DC in 2002 was fantastic -- got to room with one of the 50-year members of our Alum Chapter who came up from Georgia with me -- we both snored so loud and laughed so hard and just had a BLAST!!!

My most recent fave memory is going to the Rose Bowl on New Years Day 2004 with another sister from my chapter (she's a year younger) -- we had THE BEST time!

I just love Gamma Phi Beta!
