thank you for a post that all greeks need to read and consider. if your niece now in h.s does not join your late mothers sorority please urge your family members to send the badge back to the sorority's national office. too many badges end up on ebay or similar sites , because unknowing family innocently put them in a box with all the other costume jewelry in estate sales and collectors or dealers in the know buy them to re-sell .being a member of a glo yourself, you can identify with the feelings you mother surely had for her own glo and her pin, and would know how she would feel about her pin being sold to a non-member.


it sounds like you come from a very loving and thoughtful family who want to do the right thing. what a great testimony to your mother!

as for the papers, the college archives sound like a lovely way to preserve a part of your mother's history.
