That may be the case...but purple rain isn't a fair comparison to the graphic images that these kids are exposed to on a day to day basis on prime time TV... they have sexual imagery rammed down their throats all the time.... when i was growing up you would have never seen two men/women kiss in primetime....now its all about the bottom dollar...to hell with family values
