I think it was clearly done to promote Janet's new CD. I was just over on mtv.com reading about how it is supposed to be her "sexiest work yet." Now, I have no clue how she will top Would U Mind, but I think this whole debacle was setting the stage for the direction her new album is supposed to take her in.
