I'll be praying for your mama!
It's so difficult to see our parents go through these types of trials & sickness. Here's some advice I've learned when dealing with my parents' illnesses (I know you didn't ask for it, so just ignore it if you want!)
*Write everything down- statistics (blood pressure, amnt of medication, etc.), next appts, etc. It's such an emotional time and that makes it hard to remember things, even very important things.
* Be an advocate for your parent- if you don't agree with the doctor/situation/whatever, speak up! It's kind of role reversal- you kind of take a parental role for a while. If you can't make headway, ask to speak to the Patient Advocate at the hospital. They can often help with scheduling dilemmas and such.
*Get a 2nd opinion!
