Fee Fee, I know. Brooklyn is expensive. Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights have been for a long time, but now Ft. Greene and DUMBO are up there, too.
DUMBO will definitely be expensive b/c of location itself. Even sections like Bedford-Stuyvesant, Flatbush and Crown Heights are getting to be expensive. Like you said, Brooklyn is becoming pricey. I have a friend who owns a 4 bedroom house in Long Island and his mortgage is about $1200 a month. That's the rent for a 2 bedroom apt in some parts of Brooklyn.

Something's wrong with this picture. Besides, it's not like salaries have increased for people either to justify the high cost of living in New York.
