Good advice above.
This happened to our son one night a couple of years ago when he was out with a couple of his HS girlfriends. A bunch of guys in another car was following and hasseling them.
He had the presence of mind to pull into a Fire station.
The other car hung around until the firemen came out to see what was going on.
