HC I start classes today
HC I decided to forgo continuing my studies in history, in order to pursue an MPA
HC I'm excited!!
HC My community is getting on my nerves!!
HC I thought the MLK parade was as bad as it gets
HC It was, but the Black College Expo was up there
HC I was one of the Spelman reps
HC EVERY BLACK GIRL IN CALIFORNIA visited our table
HC I lost my voice during the course of the day from screaming over the music..yes, music
HC There were TWO radio stations at the college fair
HC The atmospehere was not that of a typical college fair
HC The LA Times article on the fair heralded, "When a College Expo's a party too"
HC "le sigh"
HC My annoyance only grew after reading the article
HC It included a sterotype of Spelman
HC I was not pleased!!
