If they landed on the moon in the 60's and technology wasn't as sophisticated as it is now, how come there hasn't been another so-call visitation/landing since?

HHMMM...I wondered about that too. If NASA is really interested in exploring the possiblity of living in outer space, why no research the moon further instead of Mars (did they ever find the probe they "lost")?
I, too, believe there is a cure for cancer and AIDS, AIDS especially. I remember taking a CPR class in high school (89-90) and we had to clean the dummy off with a solution of bleach & water "to prevent transmission of HIV." And I thought either they're trying to scare us into cleaning this thing off or bleach & water really does kill the AIDS virus. Then there's the point CrimsonRage brought up about Magic. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy he's well, but it does make you wonder.
As for cancer, well, it's been around FOREVER. There's been more than enough time to discover two or three cures.
Here's something else I don't understand. The unemployment rate is really low, like 3% or something like that, which is considered full employment. You go to hotjobs.com,monster.com,etc. and there are TONS of openings, yet when I submit my resume, I never hear back. You need someone to fill a position, I'm qualified for that posistion (I wouldn't submit if i wasn't), why the HECK can't I at least get called for an interview??? I mean dang, I don't have an "African American" name, I have a degree, I have work experience & computer experience. WTF? I'm beginning to wonder if there's merit to the theory some have that if you attended an HBCU but it wasn't one of the more well known schools, you're S-O-L. (sorry, i didn't mean to vent, it just came out)
