Dear Brothers,

On Thursday January 22 2004, the Brothers of Indiana Zeta at Butler University hosted a special evening chapter reception on the eve of the Phi Kappa Psi Presidents Leadership Academy

I was very pleased to be joined by Brother Gordon Letterman (West Virginia Alpha '72) and Executive Director Emeritus Ralph D. Daniel (Arizona Alpha '47) as we enjoyed the opportunity to meet and speak to the chapter Brotherhood. The Indiana Zeta chapter roster has just recently topped 105 members, with the addition of 30 new outstanding pledges.

I wished to recognize Chapter G.P. Jared Persinger and alumni advisors Bob Marchesani, Ray Volpe, Mickey Rodgers, and John Esteb who helped organize the evening program, in which the entire Butler University campus administration was represented.

I especially wish to thank University President Dr.Bobby Fong, Vice President of Student Affairs Levester Johnson, Dean of Student Life Irene Stevens and Director of Greek Life Becky Druetler who each took the time to visit Indiana Zeta earlier in the evening in an incredible display of university administration support of quality Butler University Greek Community programming.

Indiana Zeta has been recognized by its host institution and the City of Indianapolis for their philantopic support of Hope Lodge and in the nationally recognized effort to assist the Butler Hillel Council in the Fall of 2002.

I wish to express my appreciation to Phi Psi Brothers Stu Rhodes, Eric Sampson , Hyparchos Area Advisor Mac Mclaughlin and Phi Psi Director of Chapter Services Chad Stegemiller who also attended in the chapter tribute.
