To the Wonderful Sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha,
Please excuse this interruption to your forum, but I need to clear something up. THIS "docdaisy" is a Delta Zeta and NOT a collector of pins on E-bay. From what I saw, that person is "docdaisy514" and I am just plain ol' Docdaisy. I can see the confusion, but it's not a fair assumption to make.
I'm sorry to say this, but I feel a little insulted that you would openly say things like that about me on here. I am a member of a wonderful sisterhood and I would never take GLO symbolism for granted. I have a hard time believing that you would think that way about a fellow Greek... and that you would speak about me as if I'm some kind of evil-doer. That's very hurtful. The fact that it was implied that I was (possibly) not a Delta Zeta is even more insulting...
You know, the only reason why I found out about this is that my best friend is a ZTA and she told me that I was being spoke about in a non-favorable light. I'm glad she told me about it... this way I could clear the air and maybe get you guys to rethink some of the things you said. Seeing our badges sold on E-bay is sad and frustrating. But getting angry at the buyer (or the presumed buyer) may not be the answer. Maybe the key lies in speaking to the seller to get them to donate the badges to our National Offices. Just a thought...
