Who am I or the government to force a terminally ill person to deal with certain aspects of their illness--nausea, poor appetite, headaches--in the privacy of their own home for less money than separate pharmaceuticals for each symptom that would cost more? [/B][/QUOTE]


Many years ago,a dear friend died of AIDs related leukemia.When his illness was bad enough for him to be hospitalized,he would bring his marijuana into the hospital.The workers knew exactly what he was doing.That is one smell you cannot hide.The medical staff would tell him that he wasn't supposed to smoke in the hospital but never once tried to take it away from him.They knew it helped him to ease the pain he was in.Not that it makes a difference but it was a university hospital as well.
