Yes, the two are the same thing. I know a lot of progams are trying to switch over to communication disorders. Where is your friend going to school?
Best of luck to you in your Ph.D. pursuits! I know I'm not quite as nervous because now I know that I'm at least into one school. I can actually start focusing on school and giving therapy now! LOL
