The only stepping that I specifically remember at
an APO national Convention was in 1994 at Dallas.
Prairie View & a couple of others did a demonstration
routine and then tried to teach it to the people there
The biggest problem was the organizers guess badly
on how many people would come to it and the room
was packed.
I could see the following at convention without
major issues...
Day 1/2: Registration for step show.
Day 1 or 2: Class for those wishing to learn how to step
Day 3: Step show. (Voting delegates on floor though)
Day 4: Announcement of winners at final banquet, perhaps either
replay of winning routing or shown on projector like convention bids.
Biggest problem might be issues between co-ed and all-male chapters/alumni groups.
