TEF was founded by 10 Jews, who were unable to gain admittance in the 2 professional fraternities at Columbia's Pharmacy School, according to Baird's. I don't know if TEF was explicitly Jewish, but it has been considered to be a Jewish fraternity by many. My father was a TEF from Tulane. I know that at least one of there chapters, the current one at CCNY, has few, if any Jews.
