Congratulations!!

I am expecting my second son in June. My first pregnancy, I was in labor for about 2 hr, and ended up having an emergency c-section. My son was in distress, so I did not have to go through labor. But the healing for a c-secion is no picnic. I tried to breastfeed, but since he weighed over 8lbs along with a 6in incision made it to difficult. Hopefully, I will be able to have my second naturally. I would rather go through labor and heal faster than another c-section.

The advise I can give is to read! I agree with McCoyRed that a great resource is "What to Expect When You are Expecting." It is a great resource. It lets you know what your body is going through and what to expect. Also, I have been blessed with a wonderful doctor. I can ask him anything and he makes sure that I understand everything that is going on. He is the type of doctor that doesn't leave ANYTHING up to chance. For example, I am almost 8 months and I have already had 5 ultrasounds and have at least 2 more scheduled before my son's birth.

Be Blessed!!!
