Good afternoon, everyone! My group at school is planning a "Blast to the Past" party. We're trying to focus on the late 80's -early 90's. For those of you who'd like to reminisce, please tell me what you miss the most about those days, your favorite TV show, your favorite outfit/hairstyle, and anything else you want to share. Thanks!
Since I was in high school during this very time, I can give you the lowdown of what was up:

Outfits:
Kangols, British Knights, Troop jeans and jackets, Adidas and Fila sweatshirts, posse badges (amulets with Africa in the middle), blue jean jackets with heavy metal groups sewn in a square hole in the back, blue jean overall shorts with only one strap attached, cardigan sweaters (boys and girls), "in" colors being in "hot" colors of pink, purple, and green, Cross Colors, African American College Alliance outfits representing your favorite HBCU.

TV Shows:
Yo! MTV Raps, Rap City, Headbangers Ball, In Living Color, The Party Machine with Nia Peeples, Married with Children, Knots Landing, LA Law, Night Court, The Cosby Show, A Different World, Cheers, The Simpsons, Americas Funniest Home Videos.

Game Shows:
WOF, Jeopardy! (and Super Jeopardy! aired for 13 weeks on Saturday night on ABC in the summer of 1990), The Price is Right, To Tell The Truth, Trump Card, $100K Pyramid w/John Davidson, Match Game '90, Scrabble, Super Password, Now You See It, Monopoly, Tic Tac Dough, The Jokers Wild

Hairstyles:
box and slope haircuts for the guys, assymetrical hairdos for the girls, big hair for the girls, mullets for the guys,
