It is indicative of where this guy would be coming from, and in my experience he would have to really be an exceptionally strong contender to get a bid. I believe this position is pretty much generally held throughout the brotherhood as I have almost never seen a DEKE with a tatoo and the comments from the guys were pretty cold when the subject came up.

I'm a woman. I have 2 tattoos that mean alot to me. I didn't get them because they are "trendy" or the "in" thing to do. I don't care about what is trendy, because I actually can't stand trendy clothing or styles.

You may lose respect for a girl who has a tattoo, but I lose respect for you for generalizing so much. That's like saying "OMG I heard all those Deke guys are assholes. I met one and now I hate them all." How fair is that?
