Cool

A few years ago, while I was in high school we were assigned to read "Cry, the Beloved Country", by Alan Paton. This book gave beautiful depictions of the shores and countryside of South Africa. I would absolutely love the opportunity to see those places up close.

If given the chance to go, I'd probably stay at least two weeks and visit a lot of the historical sites. It would be wonderful to see Alan Patons birthplace, which I understand now is a national landmark. Also, I'd love to trace Nelson Mandela's footsteps and SA's road towards the end of aparteid. Oh, my.......this sounds soooo nerdy , but what can I say? I love history
